From now until the end of August, Funcom is offering The Secret World at half price. This is a great opportunity for new players to check out the game that attempts to break through the fantasy-themed MMO genre stereotype.
Unless you've been living under a fairly massive rock for the past year, chances are you've heard of The Secret World, so I won't bore you with a long-winded explanation of what the game is all about. What I will do, however, is encourage any of you who haven't played the game yet to consider doing so this month to take advantage of the current 50% discount pricing for the full TSW game.
Through the end of August, Funcom is offering TSW at the low, low price of $14.99, or basically the cost of a normal MMO monthly subscription. That's a pretty sweet deal for a full MMO, considering that the game is free-to-play once you've made the initial game purchase.
