Over the weekend IGDA and game industry veteran Kevin Dent tweeted a rumor that THQ had shelved its 2014 lineup of games and also cancelled its upcoming Vigil Games developed Warhammer 40k: Dark Millennium Online. THQ later debunked the rumor with a statement saying, "THQ has not cancelled its 2014 line-up, and has not made any decisions regarding the planned MMO."

But there seems to be a little more intrigue surrounding Warhammer 40k: Dark Millennium Online. GamesIndustry.biz is reporting that anonymous sources have indicated that the game is currently being offered for sale to other companies. Whether those rumors turn out to be true or not time will tell. But for now, we recommend taking everything with a grain of salt despite THQ's less than stellar 2011 financial performance.
