In a new blog post Respawn Entertainment have revealed their new matchmaking system for Titanfall.

Rather than placing speed as a priority over the quality of pairing teams, they're now admitting with their new system that match making might take a little longer than usual. Alongside this more accurate match making method, the new system will also periodically split teams to ensure that you don't always play against the same people.

During the testing phase of this new matchmaking system players will be able to use it alongside the standard multiplayer queue. All you need to do is select the "Improved Matchmaking (Beta)" under "Play Classic MP".

Although I'm a fan of traditional server lists and picking which one I want to play on, I appreciate that its not as accesible as just hitting a matchmaking button. Still, if this works out as I'm sure it will, competition in the game should go up a notch and that's most welcome.
