PvP mechanics and potential locations for roleplaying are two of the things you’ll find in this week’s update for The Elder Scrolls Online.

Zenimax Online Studios has posted their latest “Ask Us Anything” (AUA) installment for The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) this week. The latest installment reveals more about PvP, siege equipment, roleplaying locations, group size, and more. Standard PvP groups would appear to be sized at four players, a rather small number. Luckily, there appears to be a larger option in the works which more should be revealed about later.

The AUA also reveals more about the process of invading enemy territories, most notably with an expanded resource system similar to Guild Wars 2’s WvW resource locations.

The three resources around a keep (lumber mills, farms, and mines) fuel its upgrade process. Lumber mills help make keep doors stronger and allow them to repair themselves automatically. Farms make keep guards tougher and stronger, and mines help reinforce the walls, making them harder to destroy and allowing them to repair themselves over time as well. Taking control of resources around keeps also shuts off various patrols in the vicinity, so it’s always advantageous to take resources before laying siege to the keep itself.

Roleplayers will also find a number of locations available for roleplaying when the game launches. There’s plenty more and you can check it all out in this week’s AUA.
