One game that came out of E3 that managed to catch the attention of many gamers was the Ubisoft Massive developed game, Tom Clancy’s: The Division. Gamereactor had the chance to catch up to Managing Director David Polfeldt at E3 2013 to learn more about the game and some of the goals the team has for the ambitious project.

Polfeldt took a moment to confirm and clarify that the content shown was from the engine in real time and touched on his feelings on the heavy use of tech demos at E3 over actual gameplay. Polfeldt then took some time to discuss the decision to design The Division for the next gen consoles and his thoughts on evolving story in the medium. While Polfeldt confirmed that the tech used is PC-based, no PC version has been confirmed for The Division as of yet.

The Division is scheduled to launch in 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We'll have to wait and see how things play out for the PC.
