Transformers rolled onto the scene back in the 1980s and has since been a popular force of entertainment in many circles. The franchise has had everything from toys to cartoons to video games and more recently its own series of movies, but RuneScape developer Jagex aims to bring the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons to online gaming fans with Transformers Universe.
The game boasts to have action-oriented gameplay and be playable directly from your web browser. While the latest trailer lacks any actual gameplay elements, it does tease a new rendering of a transformation and a bit of what players can expect from the game when it officially launches sometime next year.
