For those of you getting excited to own the underworld in Triad Wars, a brand new trailer has been unleashed featuring plenty of badass in-game footage. Set in the same universe as Sleeping Dogs and taking place prior to the events of that game, Triad Wars does strive to deliver on the promise of its #owntheunderworld tagline.
The name of the game is to build up your very own criminal empire, focusing on various revenue streams such as gambling or counterfeiting as you build up your personal turf. Meanwhile, you’ll be out to undermine the activities of your rivals, beat the snot out of their bosses, and take their stuff.
The base building aspects of the game are exceptionally well done, but one of the game’s biggest draws will no doubt be its distinctive combat style.
