So, ESO stuff happened this weekend, too!
I'm going to just go ahead and admit that the only thing Elder Scrolls related that I paid attention to this weekend was the fact that composer Jeremy Soule is scoring EverQuest Next. It's not that I'm not interested in ESO, it's just that EQNext was the new, undiscovered shiny object.
Because of the EQNext reveal at SOE Live last Friday, a few of you may have missed the fact that The Elder Scrolls Online, another highly-anticipated sandbox MMO, had a gameplay presentation at QuakeCon this weekend. The video takes just over 20 minutes to watch, and you'll get a an extended ESO gameplay demo for your effort.
This is all juicy Elder Scrolls goodness, including a dungeon combat demo...in the classic Elder Scrolls first person PoV. (Although third person is perfectly viable, too.) What's your take? Are you excited for ESO? Did the gameplay demo disappoint or intrigue? Leave a comment!
