Yesterday, we took a look back at some of the
best things Mists of Pandaria had to offer. However, with all the
good, there is always bad to mirror it. So today we are taking a walk on
the darker side of things. Below you will find our picks for the worst of
Mists of Pandaria. The things that made us headdesk, /lifequit, and
overall wish they would vanish from the game. Check them out and see if
they match up with your own personal picks for worst of Mists:

Daily Quests

While the daily quests on the Timeless Isle
aren't too bad, the rest are simply shudder worthy. Mists of Pandaria has
a plethora of daily quests and they are everything that you hope they
aren't. Repetitive, boring, overly long, and perhaps worst of all;
necessary. Daily quests are a much better idea when they are optional and
not essential to game play. Optional dailies mean players can choose to do
them if they wish, or skip over them without much consequence. A blessing
for those of us who have had enough of these types of quests. Mists of
Pandaria
really missed the mark when it comes to Daily quests. We
can only hope that Warlords will be better.

Dungeons

The raiding scene in Mists of Pandaria
was one of the best we have seen in several expansions. However, the 5-man
dungeon scene left much to be desired. Short, overly simply, and really
not that interesting, 5-man dungeons managed to feel like an afterthought.
I know I had at least one moment where my group had killed the end dungeon
boss and didn't even know it.

On top of all these things, we got no new
dungeons the entire expansion. Despite huge levels of other content,
dungeons were ignored time and time again. Many will argue that we got
Scenarios instead, but for those of us who love the old-school 5-man,
these simply aren't enough. Mists of Pandaria was, without a
doubt, one of the worst expansion packs for dungeons we've seen in a long
time.

Reputations, Reputations, Reputations

Reputations. The bane of many player's
existence and doubly so in Mists of Pandaria. Not only did this
expansion release a ton of reputations to earn favor with, many of them
felt downright useless. Sure the Pearlfin Jinyu and August Celestials were
interesting, but were they really indispensable? Did we really need both
the Kirin Tor Offensive AND the Shado-Pan Assault in the Thunder King
patch? The answer, at least in my mind is a resounding no. While
interesting, many reputations, and the grind that ultimately goes along
with them, could have been done away with in Mists of Pandaria.

Talent Revamp

While many players rejoiced when the talent
system was overhauled in Mists, I couldn't help but shake my head
in disbelief. While the talent system was somewhat broken, the “fix” did
nothing more than dumb it down to a level that has left it feeling
meaningless, empty, and more than a little boring. While it is nice to be
able to pick whatever talents you want and still be functional, I still
can't help but feel another approach could have been taken. Every time I
open the talent menu I cringe internally as I see what it has been reduced
to, compared to what it used to be.

Fishing

Many professions saw an upward swing in Mists
of Pandaria, however, Fishing was not one of them. The Best Friend system
with Nat Pagle was downright annoying and thanks to the Fishing Spot of
the Day, Fishing has become worth less than nothing when it comes to
making a profit. Not to mention that the newest Fishing Pole, obtained
from the Angelers, is actually worse than the pole from the Kalu'ak from
back in the days of Wrath. A slap in the face if I've ever seen one. While
I am sure some players enjoy Fishing in Mists, I feel that this profession
is a definite worst in this expansion.

That wraps up our list of top 5 worst of Mists
of Pandaria. What are some of your personal picks for worst of Mists? Do
you think they will be fixed in the next expansion? Share your thoughts
