Angmar resides to the north of the North Downs and Bree-land. It is home to the great fortress of Carn-dum and is the source of great evil in Middle-earth. The Witch-king of Angmar himself once dwelled within the great keep of Carn-dum before being driven out. Angmar is still a land of dark magic and great evil. The fell watching stones of Rammas Deluon still sit guard over the easter reaches of Malenhad and the Angmarim have several established strongholds within the realm. With the aid of Ongburz and Blogmail Orcs, this land is no safe haven to the free peoples of Middle-earth who choose to stand against Angmar.
