Secret Sauce Spilled...?



We don't know exactly who was the first to break the news, although we do know it wasn't Sigil. Regardless, it's out there--Vanguard: Saga of Heroes has entered beta 4. According to the Vanguard FAQs, the plan for beta 4 is to:

Determine the target number of people in a single shard, preferably arriving with general numbers to determine what is overpopulated and what is underpopulated. Add Kojan, which completes the world. Finalize itemization, character advancement rates, tweaks to Crafting, Harvesting and Diplomacy.

On the Fires of Heaven forums, Todd "Nino" Masten said that beta 4 wouldn't last very long. What "not very long" means is open to speculation. At any rate, it does look as though Sigil is still on track for their Q1 2007 release of Vanguard.
