What's up, Codemasters?
Codemasters Online chatted with IGN at Connect '08 and this interview was the result.
Codemasters handles Turbine's The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar and Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach in Europe, which is actually multiple markets, not one. It also has ArchLord and RF Online, which are from NHN Games and CCR respectively. Both of these are also available to North American users. The upcoming endeavor is NetDevil's Jumpgate Evolution. Given this line-up and situation, we were interested to see what the publisher is aiming to achieve at its inaugural community event, which is set to take place this coming Friday and Saturday in Birmingham, England. We were also keen to obtain an appreciation of the thinking and planning that has gone into organizing it. Fortunately, Director of Marketing Ed Relf and Director, Community Relations Samantha "Satine" Russell proved willing to fill us in by answering the various questions we posed.
