Pop Goes the Battery?



SOE's Vanguard community manager, Michelle "Elionia" Butler, reported
from SOE Fan Faire yesterday. Here's what she had to say:

We have had a fun time today. The State of the Game
panel was great for
everyone and we gained some really good ideas from the players. We had
several gathering spots for the group and it is very nice to put names
with faces. The main hall was hopping all day long and it is nice to
see players meeting their guild mates for the first time.



One of our panels was rather strange. We heard a loud POP and then
smelled the remains of the laptop battery burn up as we concluded the
first of a three part power point presentation.



Everyone has been very kind and I am looking forward to the Live Quest
and panel discussions tomorrow.

We promise to have some great Fan Faire reports coming your way from
our very own community manager, Machail, who is at Fan Faire meeting
and greeting devs and having a blast. He promises to bring back "a
metric ton of stuff" (we assume he means information) for Vanguard fans
to soak in after the event.
