You may have heard the term, used the term, or even have it as a tragic tattoo somewhere on your body.

But few people truly have experienced all that a LAN Party truly has to offer.

So what is a LAN Party, and is it full of music and girls?

No, no it isn't. Now please feel free to read this while we go kill ourselves.

Well to the untrained eye it just seems to be a bunch of pudgy, light fearing geeks staring slack jawed at computer monitors while occasionally ripping one so hard that they momentarily gain “lift off” and achieve actual orbit around their office chair. But to those of us in the know, we see it for what it is: A rowdy and rambunctious laugh-fest in which friendships are made, honed, and broken all in a matter of moments, depending on which game you are playing.

Which *IS* the primary function of a LAN Party: To get together and play video games.
