Although Cody "Micajah" Bye is currently Ten Ton Hammer's managing editor, Cody also likes to think of himself as a "budding author." However, apathy has been his greatest enemy lately, keeping him from doing what he loves: writing fiction. To prevent any more sluicing away of his ability, Cody joined a writer's club to give himself a new audience. In his blog, Cody talks about the need for an audience and why Ten Ton Hammer has provided him with a solid platform to write from.

However, I also like to throw in my other "job", my work as a fiction writer. With a full-length novel written (as of yet unpublished) and a good handful of short stories that need to be sent to anthologists, I'm one of those young gun writers that is trying to get some accreditation before life grabs me by the short hairs and pulls me down into the depths of the "no-time-zone". I'm always fearful of that day when I no longer have time to accomplish anything, but hopefully it is still a ways off.
