Our ever popular SMITE Tier List ranks each God in a Tier that we consider to be "the best",  its detail is intentionally limited: we want you to be able to quickly view the list and see where Gods are placed. When creating this list, we took into consideration key attributes a strong jungler needs:

  • Camp clear
  • Rotation speed
  • Ganking and/or burst potential
  • The ability to escape easily

This article will, upon every change to our Tier List, reflect the best 5 junglers in Conquest.

Mercury

I profess that my Mercury play is fairly poor, but I have several close friends who're frighteningly good at utilising the Messenger of the Gods. Although his early clear is poor - certainly compared to Thanatos - he comes online fairly quickly. His burst poke with Made You Look, combined with the utility of Special Delivery ensures he can chase, or control an enemy God fairly easily. As long as he rotates effectively, and makes use of movement speed items, he can often keep pace with the clear of Thanatos.

Ratatoskr

Ratatoskr has been in and out of the meta multiple times. The increased map size should help him considerably, especially when you factor in his Ultimate ability, and he's still fairly solid at rotating and clearing camps. He make lack the raw burst of Thanatos when he's flying down on you from above, but Ratatoskr has solid mobility and good damage in his Flurry.

Serquet

Serquet is incredibly strong in the right hands and solid jungler. With many of her abilities causing different poisons, and different effects, she doesn't neccesarily rely on Power to deal good damage, or clear quickly. Her use of Deathbane, combined with Catalyst, can soften up most jungle packs easily, allowing her to reposition near a lane to maximize the use of Ambush.

Thanatos

Is there anything worse than being chased by Thanatos, knowing he has his Ultimate ability ready? Probably not. Unfortunately for everyone but Thanatos, the God is very much back in favor. His ability to cleave, make use of the larger map, while his Passive gives him fairly reasonable sustain. Definitely a God to watch and be wary of.

Thor

Thor's kit doesn’t particularly lend itself to securing the jungle like other Gods do, but his damage and AOE potential allows him to clear camps incredibly easily while also having the mobility and engage needed to gank lanes quickly. Tectonic Rift and Berserker Barrage can both work well to stun and cleave camp minions quickly and if he does encounter an enemy player in the jungle, he has all the tools (and damage) necessary to take down most Gods quickly.
