So, How Many Trains Did
KC Serve Again?
One of the highlights of SOE's 2007 Fan Faire was finding out more
about new game expansions in development. EverQuest
2's the Rise of Kunark is scheduled for release in November
and plans to add some very interesting content. Tony "RadarX" Jones was on
hand to listen to questions about epic weapons, contested raiding, and
even a surprise unannounced feature. Don't miss out on hearing about
one fo the most interesting sessions of the event.
At Gamer's Day a few months back SOE announced it's
2 expansion the Rise of Kunark. Based on the lore surrounding the first
EverQuest 1 expansion they appear to be attempting to duplicate their
success with Echoes of Faydwer by using a familiar area. While Ten Ton
Hammer brought you a video interview of EverQuest 2 Producer Scott
Hartsman showing the game during E3, there was an entire group of
developers currently working on the expansion ready to field questions.
Some of the developers in attendance (and I apologize we were in the
back of the room so I know I didn't see one or two) included Lead
Designer Akil "Lyndro" Hooper, and Designers Steve "Saavedra" Kramer,
and Liz "Feconix" Sigmund.
C'mon, you know you miss those Karnor's Castle trains. Relive some
Kunark memories and check out RadarX's coverage of the href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/10002">expansion
discussion, then talk about it in our href="http://forums.tentonhammer.com/showthread.php?t=18440">forum.
