MMORPGs and social networks are forming a cozy relationship and Turbine is expanding on it with a new application that will allow players of The Lord of the Rings Online to share their adventures with their Facebook friends. The new application, LOTRO Player Feed, will update your status when you start and finish playing LotRO as well as allow you to track in-game events. The application can be downloaded here. Install this application and have it automatically update your status to let your friends know when you're in the game! We will update your status when you start and finish playing, and you can select different ingame events to track for any or all of your characters. When you finish playing, we'll post a news item for each of your characters that completed events you subscribed to without you having to do a thing!
