So what excited us most in the Stratics chat?
The Stratics chat this week sent out a few new bits of information regarding Book 12. One of the popular new mentioned features is the Outfit system which will allow players to select the look of any gear they can equip to be seen in place of the armor they are wearing. This thread centers on that discussion and Patience dropped in to inform everyone that Kinships could even use this system to dress alike.
This thread brought up the curious question of what changes were made in the patch this past Wednesday. It also discusses some of those changes which can also be viewed in the Lore-book Here.
What lore breaking items have you twitching? This thread discusses several aspects that conflict with traditional Tolkien lore that some people dislike. Scenario and Berephon drop in to join the discussion and explain why some relaxation of lore is necessary to make the game both playable and fun. In this case I think the developers have done a great job in keeping true to the Tolkien created world and not tearing the lore to shreds. Bent it a little yes but a necessary evil as Scenario stated in his post...
If we didn't want to break the lore at all, the only playable character would be Man and the vast majority of what you get to do in the game you wouldn't. This is a game and in order to make the game fun, certain steps have to be taken to bend the lore such that the game is fun and balanced (balance is key!).
This is a useful little thread started by JWR26. It contains several resources for guides and links to "The Rift." If you are planning a run to "The Rift" or just want to research some information on it this is a good place to start.

The hype for Book 12 is already building and many people want to know, "What's next?" This thread has some information compiled from previous knowledge and features mentioned by the developers to help make finding that information easy. If you don't already know what has been stated for Book 12 this thread will get you up to speed.
This is a topic that has happened to almost everyone at some point. You are running along doing your own thing, when all of a sudden, an invite window pops up without so much as a tell. This annoys a lot of people and can be avoided with a simple /tell. Ask a person before you invite them folks. It will save them the time of leaving you if they do click accept because they have no interest in what you are doing. /tell is your friend.
