Who cares about crappy Korean MMOG #45874?

Popular blogger PlayNoEvil has a new entry up about why exactly Korean gaming does matter to the western industry.

If you have read this blog for any length of time, you know that I consider the Korean Online Game market very important. Korea was the first country to truly popularize online games as a mass market phenomena, they pioneered the Free To Play business model for major games that is all the rage, they essentially created the export market for online games, they created the first global online gaming hit in Lineage, they launched the first mega-hit casual MMOs (KartRider, Audition, and Maple Story), and, I believe, are now in a mature market and suffering some real challenges.
