The Boolean Gemini is an exotic scout rifle added with the taken king. It has excellent impact and range, along with a perk that keeps it steady while under fire and gives you an increase in agility. It also happens to be the easiest primary exotic to get in the game, requiring you only complete a reasonably short quest chain and have at least tier 3 reputation with Queen’s Wrath.

Here are all the steps involved with acquiring the Boolean Gemini.

Step 1: The Taken War

The taken war quest line can be picked up from Petra in the Reef early on into the Taken King expansion. It starts out with you having to kill Taken Champions all over the solar system. Taken Champions are tough to take down so party up and use our Taken Champion Guide to help get you through this leg of the journey.

Step 2: Wolves of Mars

Another quest line that starts at the reef, this time it’s from Variks. Seems the House of Wolves have been spotted around the system even after you took down their leader. You’ll have to travel to several different planets to kill Fallen for the first step, any enemies will do just keep slaying them till the bar is full.

The last step in this quest is killing an Archon Priest on mars. You’ll find him spawning on almost the exact same spot as the one you spawn on for the Cerberus Vae strike. It also functions like the House of Wolves events, so if you don’t immediately see him around, wait for the “Wolves are on the prowl” message indicating that the wolves have begun spawning in. Kill enough of the regular wolves and the Archon will show up.

He’s not that tough and definitely soloable by anyone over light level 260 or so.

Step 3 (Final Step): Lost and Found

The last step requires that you have at least tier 3 reputation with the Queens Wrath faction. If you completed the Taken War: Petra quests you should be close, but if you’re not quite there, fire off some dailies to quickly rank up.

When you are rank 3 you’ll receive a quest Lost and Found which will have you running to three different areas of the Dreadnaught to kill Hive. Any hive enemies in those areas will do so KOS.

When that’s done you’re next step will be to complete any tier of the Court of Oryx. Any tier will do, but if you’re solo I’d recommend Tier 1 as it’s about the only one you’ll be able to do by yourself.

Complete the Court and you’ll receive the Tech Witch Brooch which can be turned into Petra for the Boolean Gemini!
