If you’re still missing the cancelled LEGO Universe MMOG, Funcom has a new substitute and it's about to make its way into beta. Starting today, you can head over to the LEGO Minifigures website and register to be part of the upcoming closed beta test set to begin its first phase in early November, i.e., very soon. Funcom will also be expanding its pool of beta testers as more content is added. An open beta test will also be held prior to the LEGO Minifigures launch with all registered testers eligible to take part.

LEGO Minifigures is expected to launch on PC, iOS, and Andoid devices in the second half of 2014.

The Closed Beta will be an ongoing process leading up to launch next year, and over time Funcom will invite a growing number of testers to participate as more content and more gameplay features are introduced to for players to test. Funcom will also hold an Open Beta test with an extended number of participants prior to launch, and anyone registering for the Closed Beta will also be eligible for access to the Open Beta.
