2012 has been a fun year for the industry as well as a controversial one. Looking back we’ve seen the release of several new MMOGs such as PlanetSide 2, TERA, and Guild Wars 2. We saw controversy with the ending of Mass Effect 3, the Steam stumble of The War Z and the sad departure of the BioWare doctors from the gaming industry. May they come back to us soon.

2013 is shaping up to look like an interesting year with games like Firefall, Defiance, The Elder Scrolls Online, and many others on the horizon, as well as whatever BioWare is cooking up in their secret lab of development for Mass Effect 3 (if it has something to do with indoctrinating the actual playerbase it could be one of the best gaming curveballs in history) before work on the next Mass Effect game goes into full swing.

With all that looking back and now looking forward, we thank you for your support over the last year and we look forward to seeing you all in 2013.

From the staff of Ten Ton Hammer – Have a safe and happy New Year everyone!
