G4TV.com has learned that Blizzard is holding a press event for Diablo III on July 27th. While no details about what the press event have been revealed, some speculate that it will contain information about the Diablo III beta. That would certainly click with a statement made by Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime in a financial earnings call earlier this year stating that the Diablo III beta was set to begin during the third quarter of 2011.
