Merrily titled "The Rogue and You: A brief explanation as to why not burning
to death is fun and profitable for the whole gang," can tell you a lot.

Playwright John Gay is credited with saying, "A rich rogue nowadays
is fit company for any gentleman; and the world, my dear, hath not such a
contempt for roguery as you imagine." While I'm sure he did not even
have the slightest inkling that a humble columnist would be applying his words,
out of context as they may be, to a game where active imaginations lead to
painful deaths at the hands of virtual dragons, they are words to live by.
Er, vicariously, anyway. So, you ask, "What do the words of some dead
English guy have to do with Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach?"
A lot.
