Funcom's Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures (AoC) has managed to hang on to the number one sales spot according to a new update by the NPD group. The top spot allowed AoC to beat out MMORPG rival World of Warcraft and several other top PC Games. It should indeed be interesting to see how much of a contender AoC will be to WoW's crown as number one top dog in the coming months. The official AoC forums have been buzzing of late as talk of various updates and changes have been surfacing. One such example came from Funcom's Game Director, Gaute Godager as he addressed the concerns of many in regards to the massive PvP AoC has promised.

Age of Conan still #1 on the PC US charts
The NPD market sales and research group released another report recently. Our beloved Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures has topped the sales charts for another month beating out the likes of World of Warcraft and several other top PC games. This thread discusses that in all its glory and how AoC is the new king of the hill. We don't have millions of players yet but we are growing. As the game gets more polish and added features I think our little community is going to explode in size.
This thread was kicked of by Glen "Famine" Swan Funcom's US Community Manager. The purpose of the thread is to allow players a place to discuss and voice any concerns they may have as it relates to a recent message from Funcom Game Director, Gaute godager regarding the state of massive PvP battles in Age of Conan. The message also offered up several things Funcom has in the works and is pushing out to make things a lot better. You can also view the message from Gaute Godager here.
One of the upcoming changes scheduled to go in with a future update involves a feat tree reset and several updates to feats and descriptions. Starting with the necromancer. Jayde, a system designer for Funcom started a thread discussing it this past week and players were quick to dive in with both curses and praise, but you can't deny some feats need a better description.

If you are an aspiring gemcutter this thread may benefit you. Brewskie has put together a nice list of all the gems ranging from tier 1-6. Be warned, this is a long list, but very well put together for any interested in the craft.
AoC Ten Ton Hammer Threads of the Week
Ten Ton Hammer's own Cody "Micajah" Bye recently reviewed Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures. Like it or not you have to give Cody props for writing a detailed review pointing out the pros and cons of our little section of Hyboria. Have a read and share your thoughts on the topic.

Age of Conan's first siege world wide = fail.
Vitruvius posted this that generated a lot of discussion involving Siege Warfare. A group of friends and guild mates got together to test things out and see how it performed. Their review was not very positive. It hinted at many issues with collision and various other bugs and performance issues. Funcom Game Director, Gaute Godager addressed similar concerns by the community on the official forums this week here.
We have collected our first round of bugs and feedbacks given by you our loyal community to help Funcom make this game the greatest it can be. This thread will allow you (the players) to offer feedback and post bugs that need fixing for us to report to Funcom. Please read the threads original post before posting and be sure not to add exploits. That is also covered in the OP. Once we have collected a fair amount of information we will throw it together in our second update for Funcom and send it off.
