My wife and I have been consumed with style="font-style: italic;">Runes of Magic this
week. I gave readers my first impressions href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/51449">here,
but I think I did not do the game justice. In particular, the
dual class system is more complicated than I made it sound. First of
all, your choices for your two classes are permanent. You can't rotate
through any class at will. The attributes of the second class add 10%
of their value to those of your first class, so you might be tempted to
just go for synergies. At the same time, you can only access a fraction
of the skills of the second class, so the skills you get might play an
important factor in your choice. Finally, you must set your secondary
class to be the primary if you want to level it. You only gain XP in
your primary class.

If I make it sound too complex, then I am still explaining it
wrong. It's actually an exquisite design that gives you the option to
use strategies, role playing, or min/max as the force behind your

do a better job of explaining the intricacies of the system. While

Most importantly, get off your butt and try style="font-style: italic;">Runes of Magic.
