Notes:  An AoE burst centred on a floor area that reduces all affected creatures attack scores and saving throws versus fear by one.  Will save negates the effects which makes this spell a very limited situation spell,

Notes:  An AoE burst centred on the cleric with a short range.  All in the affected range gain a +1 bonus to attack and saves versus fear. A very useful party buff although in the early levels it can be spell point intensive due to the short duration.

Notes: “Enemy becomes frightened.”  This spell causes your opponent to run away from you and enact no resistance if attacked.

Duration: Instant
Target: Self, friend, undead

Rating: 1

Notes: All clerics gain this spell to represent their spontaneous casting ability.  A must use spell, the primary healing spell at level 1.  Heals 1D8+Cater level (maximum 5) per cast. .  Can be used to harm undead.

Notes:  A foe is commanded to lie down.  This makes enemies much easier to hit and damage. Though higher level foes more easily resist this spell.


Divine Favour

Components: somatic, divine focus, verbal
Duration: 1 minute
Target: Self

Rating: 2

Notes:  Grants a bonus to attack and damage.  This bonus is +1, then +1 / 3 cleric levels.  Excellent spell choice for a battle cleric or for those tricky combats against named monsters.


Doom

Notes:  Foe becomes shaken.  Shaken is less severe than frightened but still conveys a -2 to attack rolls and saves. 


Inflict Light wounds

Notes:  Causes 1D8+Caster level (maximum 5) to an enemy.  Heals undead.  Has a very limited, situational use. 


Obscuring Mist

Notes: “A misty vapor arises around the caster, obscuring all sight.”  This vapor stays where created once cast.  While in the cloud, all are provided total concealment (the equivalent to invisibility for bonuses) and given total blindness.  It is extremely situational.


Protection from Evil

Notes: provides a protection from evil. Providing a bonus to saves and armour class against evil creatures.



Remove Fear

Rating: 2

Notes: Removes fear from those already under its influence.  Provides a +4 bonus against fear.  Useful in the early levels when fighting fear casting Kobold shamans. 


Shield of Faith

Components: material, somatic, verbal
Duration: 1 minute / caster level

Rating: 2

Notes: Grants the target a deflection bonus to armour class.  The bonus begins at +2 then grants an additional +1 for every 6 cleric levels. This bonus stacks with armour and shield bonus'


Summon Monster I
Cool down (seconds): Cleric 60
Casting Time: Long
School: Conjuration
Range
: Short
Components: material, somatic, verbal
Duration: 1 minute
Target: self, positional

Rating: 2

Notes: “Summons a celestial dog to fight for you for a brief time.”  The celestial dog that this spell summons is useful for taking the brunt of attacks that would be otherwise targeted on you, and useful for finding opponents around corners.  At later levels it is not as useful, but still can find foes that are behind furniture, and so on.
