Need for Speed World Surpasses 3 Million Users, Adds New Features

Posted Tue, Dec 21, 2010 by Martuk

EA Black Box's online racing game, Need for Speed World, has grown its audience to more than three million registered users. The decision to go free-to-play in September seems to have been a good move for the online racing game, adding millions of new users to the online racing world.

In addition to the growing number of users, Need for Speed World also recently added an all-new dynamic day/night cycle and an advanced vehicle performance customization tuning system, which allows players to go under the hood to upgrade and further customize their vehicle with a number of different parts. Check out the official press release for more details.
