What's in the Cards for
EverQuest Fans?

On Friday night SOE CEO John Smedley announced a new trading card game
would be added to both EverQuest games.  RadarX had the
opportunity to sit in on an entire roundtable dedicated to answering
player questions and concerns regarding this unusual new
product.  How do you exchange loot cards for in game items and
when will the beta begin?  These and many more questions are
answered inside.

Rumor had told us quite some time ago what would be
announced at Fan
Faire, but it's fairly certain most people didn't realize exactly how
this product would work. Many were just thinking "Eh...a card game.
Ok." but it turned out there was a lot more to it. If you missed the
announcement, an EverQuest trading card game built right into the
existing EverQuest 1 and EverQuest 2 clients is on the way. Not only
will it allow you to play matches against others and collect cool
cards, but some of them can actually be traded for loot in game.
