Star Wars Galaxies Adds Atmospheric Flight with GU21

The explosive conclusion to Star Wars Galaxies is less than three months away but Sony Online Entertainment is still churning out new content as the game enjoys its last few months of service. Today marks the release of Game Update 21 and with it comes the new Atmospheric Flight feature, which will allow players to explore planets in a brand new way. The new flight options also allow for PvP and Galactic Civil War point options.

The update also turns up the conflict of the Galactic Civil War with new groups of elite troopers that seek to hunt down anyone looking to tip the scale in the war. Anyone accepting a factional mission could find themselves in the crosshairs of these new enemy strike teams. You didn't think winning this war was going to be easy did you?
