Sony Online Entertainment is poised to launch a new era of online trading card wars this month with the release of Magic: The Gathering - Tactics (MTGT). Scheduled to release on January 18th, MTGT will bring the battles made popular by Magic: The Gathering to online players by way of a new 3D turn-based strategy game. This week we've managed to smuggle out obtain a few new exclusive screenshots of some of the artifact creatures that will soon be available for players to unleash upon their enemies.

While colored magic is used to cast spells and summon creatures of the same color, artifacts are neutral and can be used with all colors, allowing players to unleash devastating creatures like the Colossus of Sardia and Iron Grappler on their foes. Check them out below.
