Best Damn MMO No One Plays

Name an MMO that's really good now but wasn't half so good at launch.
If you said EQ2 you win a cookie. (No, we don't really have cookies.)
EQ2 is the perfect example of a game that got it right only well after
launch, and after losing a large chunk of its subscribers. How can
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes avoid suffering a similar fate? Read
Shayalyn's blog and share your comments, and check out our Vanguard
weekly newsletter in the process.

When you got right down to
the gameplay it simply wasn’t interesting or fun enough. I
couldn’t solo to save my pixilated ass and group encounters,
even with Heroic Opportunities, still felt sluggish and same-old-same.
The world also felt small, and played as if it was on rails. I played
on because my friends and guild mates were there, but they were
starting to lose interest, too. Pretty soon even the more hardcore of
the EQ2 lovers were off like a prom dress. My guild emptied out. EQ2
was over.
