Many MMOGs have politics of some kind, but EVE Online may be the most literal in that sense. The candidacy listings for the 6th Council of Stellar Management (CSM) elections have been announced after a thorough review of each candidate from CCP. The CSM has had a growing responsibility to the EVE community since its inception and has gained an increasingly influential status with the CCP developers.

Out of the 72 applications that CCP received, 57 were accepted and 15 were rejected for ineligibility or withdrawing their application for candidacy selection.
