Will You Be a Vanguard Junkie?



Addicted--we use the term often in modern society to say we're hopelessly attracted to things like chocolate, or Starbucks (that's Tim Horton's for our Canadian friends), or online gaming. But while chocolate and Starbucks addictions may not be real (I swear they are)...what about that last one? In this week's Mercurial Thoughts, Mercurie talks gaming addiction. How is addiction defined, and does gaming addiction fit the definition?


Most of us have heard the slang term 'EverCrack' at one time or another. The term refers to what many feel are the addictive qualities of EverQuest. Of course, the supposition that any MMORPG is addictive is a highly controversial subject among gamers.
