Kauppa-Kohta Quest Guide

Kauppa-Kohta is the first place a new adventurer coming to Forochel
encounters.  It is important to complete many of the quests here
to be able to advance to further areas of Forochel, because the Lossoth
people, inhabitants of this frozen land, will not give you quests
unless you do so.  Make sure to complete at least "Venturing
Forth" before continuing, and you probably would not be hurt by doing
all the quests.  You can do these quest solo around level 43,
excepting the Red Behemoth, which is harder.



The waters here are not cold enough to kill, though that is the case
further on into Forochel.  One thing of note, there are many
quests that provide items that are parts of sets, make sure to do those
if you want some neat sets of items, that often provide resistance to
cold.  A deed here involves helping a group of lost adventurers
(of every class).  Each of these adventurer npcs have a few
quests.  The last quest given by each adventurer gives you an item
which simulates an ability of that adventurer's profession.  For
example, the Lore-master in Kauppa-Kohta will give you a one use daze
item if you do all the quests he has available for you.  Make sure
to do these if you want the deed and nifty (though one use) items.

bone are a common sight in Lossoth camps. The Lossoth use these to
transport trade goods and supplies between their settlements, mainly
because they can support the weight of their supplies without sinking
into the snow. The Lossoth are in constant need of these sleds.

The curing barrel is next to Eija in Kauppa-kohta's shoreline
sled-building camp.



Now that you have obtained a satchel of salt from the dwarves, you
should return to Eija and place it in the curing barrel.
