While our primary focus at E3 2010 was on the plethora of promising looking new MMOGs at the show, Team Hammer made sure to take some time out of our busy schedule to check out one of the coolest new hardware lineups to hit the scene. We’re talking, of course, about Razor’s soon to be released StarCraft II gear. But what makes the fittingly titled Spectre mouse, Marauder keyboard and Banshee headset more than a new product line with a fancy game logo slapped on the surface? Ten Ton Hammer spent some time with Razor’s President Robert Krakoff to get all the details.

It’s in this sense that the hardware we choose to interface our favorite games with becomes equally important as any other system spec for playing newer titles. As such, I was pretty excited about one of my E3 appointments that deviated from the MMOG demo crowd and allowed me to check out Razer’s recently announced lineup of StarCraft II gear. Don’t be fooled by the branded merchandising though, as this new hardware packs a solid peripheral punch regardless of your pro level status within the game.
