World of Warcraft® Street Date: 11.23.04!

It's official. Blizzard Entertainment® announced today that World of Warcraft® will hit stores on November 23, 2004 in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. Select retailers may begin selling the massively multiplayer online game as early as midnight on Monday, Pacific Daylight Savings Time.

Additionally Blizzard announced that for the initial shipment only, the standard edition of World of Warcraft will be available in two unique box covers representing the major factions of the world - Alliance & Horde. A limited number of World of Warcraft Collector's Edition boxes will also be available for sale in a special, one-time only production run. Pre-order is recommended for adventurers wishing to reserve a World of Warcraft Collector's Edition.
