While flying mounts are becoming more commonplace in MMOGs, href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/taxonomy/term/771"

International sets
itself apart from the crowd by allowing players to enter aerial combat
while flying high on their Flying Swords, Beasts or Wings. In a new dev
journal, project manager Jon Belliss discusses how players can earn and
use a flying mount of their very own in PWI.

Once your character
has taken to the skies, you will notice entirely
new sets of flying mobs to battle. Flying monsters actually give
players 1.5 times the normal experience points you get from fighting
ground based creatures.  Flight is also conversely the best
for avoiding mobs as you travel—go as high as possible, set
your destination and off you go!
