Trion Worlds deployed the first big update for Rift since its March 1st launch today, bringing changes to experience gains for rifts, invasions and footholds, which will be closer in line with gains that players experienced during beta. But the biggest piece of content released with this update is undoubtedly the Raid Rifts. Players that have burned through their 50 levels can now access the Water, life, Death, and Air Raid Rifts for an assortment of shiny new loot.
The update also fixes a number of issues and adds some new requested features. The Quest Tracker has been extended to allow players to choose to track up to 10 quests at a time and item stacks can now be split from inside the player's bank. Additionally, there have been several class adjustments and some tweaking to abilities along with a load of bug fixes, which the most comical has to be this one.
The Im Stuck button will stop getting stuck after 24 hours has passed. The irony of this is not lost on us, either.
PvP players didn't get left out. Deserters of Warfronts will now be unable to join another match for 15 minutes if they leave their team in the wind and PvE server guards will now be a little more alert when it comes to stopping a PvP attack.
