The 7 Best Marvel Games Of All Time
This year, the whole world has rediscovered (or discovered) their love for gaming. Well, there hasn’t been much else to do. Luckily, thanks to genius Stan Lee and his team, we have Marvel to provide us with reading, watching, game content. Regardless of what type of games you like - video games, slots, mobile games, or board games - you can find something Marvel-themed to enjoy.
Spider-Man for PS4 is the best Marvel-themed video game out there. It is far from being the first one in the long row of games based on the Spider-Man comics, and creators did everything to make sure that all past mistakes were fixed. If you are a fan of the third-person perspective (who isn’t, really?), you will enjoy Spider-Man. The ensemble of cast characters is impressive, and the voice actors did a marvelous (pun intended) job. Needless to say, Spider-Man was included in all major lists of the best games of 2018, and rightly so.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (2006)
Please don’t be discouraged by this game’s release year. It may be a little retro in the world where new content is created every day, but it doesn’t get old, promise. Developed by Raven Software, one of the giants of the video gaming industry, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is amazing. The main appeal is, of course, that you get to see all your favorite Marvel characters in the same game (24 playable characters altogether). It also has a competitive mode, meaning that you get to multi-task - play video games and socialize with your friends at the same time. A great thing for the lockdown times.
If you are a Marvel slots fan, you know that most of them are no longer available at online casinos. They were removed from circulation because Walt Disney bought Marvel Entertainment and, as a family-oriented company, demanded that all gambling activities affiliated with Marvel were removed. It was a hard blow, but, luckily, several Marvel-themed slots are still available, alongside other free demos of online casino games. The Avengers is undeniably the best of them.
The Avengers (2012)
The Avengers is a 5-reel, 20-pay line slot game with four progressive jackpots. It is equally well-designed, entertaining, and lucrative (the chances of winning big-time are pretty high). Also, you get to see all of your favorite characters in one place and enjoy exquisite video and audio quality.
Contest for Champions (2014)
This one is a true delight for Marvel fans. It is a character-collecting game, meaning that you need to collect various Marvel characters and use them to fight villains. So, no matter who your favorite Marvel character is, you get to play them. Contest for Champions is suitable for both Android and iOS devices, so no discrimination here.
Realm of Champions (2020)
You’ll have to wait a tiny bit longer for Realm of Champion - it is set to be released on December 16. However, it will no doubt be worth the wait, based on the trailers available. Similarly to Contest for Champions, it will be available for both Android and iOS. Make sure to apply for pre-registration.
Legendary lives up to its name. It is a deck-building game: you have several cards at the beginning and have to use them to add more to your hand. The ultimate goal is to defeat all villains. The coolest thing about Legendary is that it is a cooperative game, meaning that it unites you with your friends and family members at the table instead of causing quarrels.
Munchkin Marvel (2018)
Every board game lover knows Munchkin; it is a true classic. The twist with this one is that you get to engage in role-playing with your favorite Marvel character. Munchkin Marvel has heroes, villains, and everyone in between. Remember how you wanted to be a Spider-Man when you grow up? Here is your chance. Great for everyone above 10.
