Tinnudir: Evendim Quest Guide

The island of Tinnnudir is one of the first places players will learn when they arrive in Evendim. This safe haven is not only a great place to sell, repair, and rest, but it also contains a large amount of quest for Evendim. This new guide will aid you in finding many of the quests this land has to offer. To make things simple, the chain quests are all linked so that you can see where each one leads.

Uiriel (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.7S, 67.2W) Background Uiriel is concerned about the number of nerbyg that have begun to appear throughout the Barandalf and fears that the creatures may be preparing to swarm.

 

Halsey Reed (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.79S, 67.22W) Background Task Halsey Reed is concerned about the salamanders that crawl among the dunes of the Barandalf. Collect 8 Sand-swept Scales

You can find the Salamanders for these in Barandalf, southeast of Tinnudir.

Rudbessain (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.71S, 67.26W) Background Task Rudbessain had an unfortunate encounter with the sand-lurkers that prowl among the dunes of the Barandalf and wishes to end the threat they pose to travellers. Slay 5 sand-lurkers. They can be found in Barandalf located southeast of Tinnnudir along the road to Oatbarton.

 

Harmony Grayson (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.64S, 67.16W) Background Task Harmony Grayson has volunteered to help the Rangers collect relics from the ruins of Barad Tharsír.

Collect relics from Barad Tharsír south-east of Tinnudir, in the Barandalf. The relics and locations are listed below.

Unity Tilden (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.63S, 67.16W) Background Task Reward Prerequisite Unity Tilden is concerned that tomb-robbers have taken control of the ruins of Barad Tharsír in the Barandalf. Slay the following in Barad Tharsír southeast of Tinnnudir.

Culang (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.18S, 67.78W) Background Task Reward The Ranger Culang has learned of a great treasure buried long ago by a Dúnadan-landholder and wants it recovered before it is found by tomb-robbers. The first marker for this quest can be found at the crossroads near the P in Parth Aduial on the map. The item is a small stone marker near the monument.

The inscription on this stone marker is barely legible, but these words can just be made out:

"To settle disputes, men fight in the ring of stone.

Outside the wall, my marker lies hidden."

This new riddle may reveal the true location of the treasure.

After receiving a mind numbing riddle the quest will continue. The second stone marker can be found just north of Ost Forod at

Loc: 7.0S, 63.8W.

The inscription on this stone marker is barely legible, but these words can just be made out:

"From this beach you, can see Rantost,

A short swim across the water."

This new riddle may reveal the true location of the treasure.

The third marker can be found along the shore just east of Rantost. The marker can be found around

Loc: 5.9S, 69.1W

The inscription on this stone marker is barely legible, but these words can just be made out:

"On the western shore of mighty Lake Nenuial,

Stone paths run to the water from a flat clearing."

This new riddle may reveal the true location of the treasure.

This next stone can be found on the western shores of Evendim just south of Eavespire. You will notce the stone marker surrounded by Tomb Robbers. Speak with the nearby Treasure hunter and he will have his men attack the robbers. This can be done at Loc: 9.3S, 73.1W

The inscription on this stone marker is barely legible, but these words can just be made out:

"High atop Dol Haedír, beyond the Gloaming Falls,

Wolf-kin men will guard my last."

This new riddle may reveal the true location of the treasure.

The Gloaming falls lie northwest of Eavespire. You can find the next marker there at

Loc: 4.90S, 73.80W.

The inscription on this stone marker is barely legible, but these words can just be made out:

"The end of your search lies at the beginning.

My treasure was always there, but you did not see."

This new riddle may reveal the true location of the treasure.

Ironically, the last stage of this quest lies at the very first marker. Return there and inspect the stone once more to collect a mouldy book. Return this book to Culang to collect your reward.

 

Kelsey West (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.64S, 67.36W) Background Task Kelsey West has told you something of Ost Forod, an old watch-post in Tyrn Fornech that has become settled by the hardened Men of Evendim. Visit Ost Forod north of Tinnnudir. Speak with asil Gummidge at

Balchelos (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.06S, 68.09W) Background Task Tomb-robbers are threatening the peace of Evendim, despoiling the ancient sites of the Dúnedain. Head to Rantost and do the following.

Collect 3 Relic crates.

Slay 10 Scouting Tomb-Robber.

Slay 10 Veteran Tomb-Robber. Once you have done these things return to

A group of Rangers are prepared to launch an assault on the island of Rantost, currently held by tomb-robbers. Take a fellowship and enter the intance by speaking to Gil Symes at Loc: 12.6S, 67.5W. You will need help as you must defend 3 ranger camps inside and prevent the Rangers from dying.

 

Helechír (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.1S, 68.0W) Level Quest Name Background Task Reward Prerequisite Because of their decreasing numbers, the Rangers of the North must occasionally hire Men from Ost Forod to watch over their ancient tombs. You will need to deliver supplies to a Ranger to the south named Alfred Whitley, but upon arrival you find him missing. Take the journal in his camp and report the news to Helechir. the camp can be found up a stairway in the ruins at

Loc: 14.9S, 65.9W. Helechír is worried that other Dùnedain ruins in Men Erain may also come under attack. There are two parts to this quest. the first is to speak with Sid Waring. He can be found at Loc: 15.1S, 66.7W. The second thing is to collect 4 relics from the ruins around Sid's camp. Collect these and return them to Helechir. You can find relics in 2 locations south of Sid at

Loc: 15.7S, 66.3W and

Loc: 16.7S, 66.6W The ancient ruins of Evendim and those who watch over them are endangered by tomb-robbers. For this part you may need some help. You will be sent to speak with the Ranger Gilrion at

Loc: 17.8S, 64.9W.

He is high in the hills along a winding path. When you speak with him a couple of waves of Tomb Robbers will attack. Defend him to complete this quest. After you save him, return to Helechir. Brychan the Bald is behind some of the attacks on the defenders of the tombs of Evendim, and Helechír wants him defeated. You will need to confront and defeat Brychen the Bald. He can be found in Ost Forod at

Loc: 8.2S, 63.8W.

Defeat him and return to Helechir to collect your reward.

 

Ringlor (Tinnnudir Loc: 12.77S, 67.09W) Background Task Ringlor and the rest of the Dúnedain are fighting a losing battle against the Angmarim that have taken Annúminas. Slay 20 Angmarim.

They can be found south in the ruins of Annuminas.
