This lively little chat has been going strong for a while and includes some useful discussion on the reputation system and several of the quest and reward overviews. The developers have even joined in on the discussion keeping it alive and highly used.
The Balrogs are coming!!! (I think I feel sick)
This thread was in response to a Tentonhammer article that offered a preview into Book 11. Unfortunately some people didnt finish reading the article and immediately assumed the Balrogs being implemented was the one in Moria. We clearly stated otherwise, but it still generated a ton of conversation on this topic. The thread ended up generating a lot of good discussion once past that whole Balrog mix up.
This thread developed into some good discussion on raiding, risk vs reward, and what might make raiding worth doing. Some feel it wouldnt be worth the effort for the rewards it might offer. Just ignore most of the first page after the OP as its all for the most part flames.

If you want to see how Pax turned out this is a great thread. Patience posted a ton of photos and information about the event. There were a ton of photos of the LOTRO booth, the people at Turbine, and someone even grabbed a snapshot of Wil Wheaton.
Book 11 information from Interview!
This was another good thread for Book 11 discussion from the Tentonhammer preview, but like the other it to suffered from the dreaded we didnt read the whole story and thought it was the Balrog of Moria syndrome. One it got past that though there was a pretty decent discussion on the coming update for Book 11.
We feel special having a third thread based off of our preview. This one dint suffer from the Balrog of Moria syndrome like the other two and it generated some useful discussion. MadeofLions even dropped in to point out the Book 10 quest wasnt the only level 50 content as he ushered readers off to three level 50 dungeons in Annuminas.

This thread is more for fun than anything else. It was a comical discussion on someone with a 5,000 post count and even involved some very terrifying, glowing, and dancing seals. You kind of have to see it
Out of the 4 million characters... How many do you have?
Recently turbine announced that there were four million characters created within LOTO. This thread was started by Mistdragon and polled players to see how many of that four million belongs to each person. Head over and post your count.
