Forochel: Zigilgund Quest Guide

While certainly a harsh and forbidding land, the dwarves of Zigilgund
find comfort in the wealth and accomplishment in opening the nearby
Icereave Mines in Forochel.  However, recently the foul Dourhand
dwarf clan has taken the mines, and the friendly dwarves of Zigilgund
are in need of brave warriors of the Free People to evict their
unwelcome cousins.  Aside from the problem with Icereave Mines the
dwarves of Thorin's Hall have, there are many other issues to concern
them.  The href="http://lotro.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=715">Guaradain
are found in the area outlying Zigilgund, the nearby hot springs are
overrun by Ice-wyrms, and wild animals encroach upon the surrounding
hills.



Along with these many quests, make sure to help the burglar Warstang,
of the href="http://lotro.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=713">Lost
Fellowship deed, in order to get his class specialty item, leather
overshoes.  It is nice to be able to sneak, no matter what your
class.  However, all the treasures given for the quests here are
worth it, especially if you manage to defeat the leader of the
Dourhands, Arnmoth.

Find Warstang's lost marbles in the bellies of the beasts who ate them

adventuring in other quests will lead to
finding the marbles.  The Peikko quest from Keli below, for
example, easily leads to finding all the marbles.)

Gauredain.

Speak to Lothrandir in Suri-Kyla.



Make your way far to the east and north to Sûri-kylä, the
City in the Ice.

located pretty much on the opposite side
of the bay at the city of Suri-kyla, at 19.0N, 70.8W.  Reach there
by heading NE from Pynti-Peldot, following the road.)
