The Raph and Boomjack show roars on, now in our own forums. In a nutshell, Raph considers using a website or strategy guide cheating and I do not. It's all a matter of semantics. I see reading a guide as a learning experience. If you learn to play your character more effectively then you are educating yourself. Raph seems to agree with the education point, but believes that it all must be done with what the game gives you.

The forum conversation has taken a right turn somewhere near insanity and remained a civil debate. If you have e-mailed me your thoughts then please also post them to the forum. This is an excellent topic. Raph and I only really disagreed on whether looking at a site to get quest information is cheating or not. We agree on the whole buying gold issue and that sanctioned RMT with proper mechanics in place is a different animal. That doesn't mean that the community is holding a love-in. Pro-RMT (real money trading) is being applauded by some readers. Have your say!

The next time you read this column it will be 2008. The coming year will be monumental. It is the first time since 2004 that we will have the launch of two bonfide MMOG heavyweights. Age of Conan and Warhammer Online are both scheduled to launch in the next twelve months. A third big dog on the porch, Stargate Worlds also has a 2008 ticket punched.

We are going to be blessed with not only two, but perhaps three AAA titles as well as an expansion for World of Warcraft. Who will come out on top?
