For quite some time before my
main character hit 40, I would
always see, "Class X looking for Trickster's!" scroll across the Qalia
regional chat channel as I off adventuring. I always wondered what it
was, where it was, and above all, what secrets did it hold? Since I'm
finally there, let's find out together.

If you haven't noticed by now, there is a distinct pattern to
the dealings you've been having with Azzad. He talks about how
desperate he is to have something, but is obviously unwilling to go get
it himself. The next trip into Trickster's Haven will prove to be no
different in this regard.



This time out, Azzad wants you to discover the mystery of the Room of
Dreams. I enjoy his use of the term "we" when talking about all of
this. "We" have the key to enter the Room of Dreams and that's what he
wants "you" to do. Amazing how that works.



He tells you how much he wants to know what's inside, but the stories
he has heard about the Room of Dreams makes him far too nervous to go
in there with. Thanks, Azzad. "We" appreciate the vote of confidence
that we'll come back out in one piece. Really, we do.



This part of the Trickster's Haven quest line is actually pretty quick.
The longest part of it all is fighting your way all the way back to the
Room of Dreams.



When you open the door to the Room of Dreams, you'll see a small set of
stairs nearby. There is a gnome you can talk to now for a quest that
gives a nice pair of boots (I'll cover that quest next week) while
you're in here anyway.

hspace="10" vspace="10">For this part of the quest
though, turn to your right as soon as you get through the door and work
you're way up the eternally long stone pathway. If you have your
friendly neighborhood necromancer with you (and you haven't taken the
quest from the gnome), you can have them use the Enshroud spell to turn
the group invisible from undead. There are no live targets going up the
ramp.



When you reach the top, make sure either everyone in the group is on
this quest, or a member that is not on the quest has a way to evac the
party out of this room.



Once there, speak with the shade, href="http://vanguard.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=858">Nayib
Al'Kalee. He'll tell you an
interesting tale of what Trickster's Haven is and about the minions he
has running around inside it. He also hints that there is far more to
the dungeon than most expect and it's creation was to ensure a being
called Kall'Ra, the Dark Muse, never escapes.



Nayib Al'Kalee has the power to enslave those that enter the Room of
Dreams if he so chooses, but states that you are unworthy of his
notice. Since you are no king with land or influence, he decides you
are not only unworthy to serve him, but that you're presence within the
Room of Dreams has come to an end.



With that, he teleports you outside, back to Azzad's Outpost.



When you speak with Azzad, he says, "Well that is amazing. There must
be a way to get inside the painting." It's nice to see he was so
concerned about your well being. Eternal imprisonment would have been a
rather unhappy ending.
