Brell's Day is the sort of day that you cannot POSSIBLY dislike. Seriously? A day that pretty much celebrates bar brawls and drunkenness cannot be all that bad. There are no fluffy cute wittle bears or dainty heart cloaks here. This is a holiday a Lucan fearing man can get behind! Being barbarian means drinking is in my blood, so I can hang out, toss a few back, hunt for pink elephants, and even streak through Butcherblock without even a second thought. Can you?

These quests are meant for fun and give some very cool rewards, but quests are quests and we all like the experience! I got all these done in several hours of laid back questing and chatting, so you could either pound 'em out all at once or take your time and get them done over several days. Just remember, Brell's Day doesn't last forever and when it's gone, it's gone until next year!

Brell's Everlasting Brew

Brell's tavern is the pretty sparkly portal just outside of North Qeynos in Antonica or just outside West Freeport in the Commonlands. Zone on in and get started on the Brell's Day fun!

Once you've entered into the tavern, you'll see a dwarf, Rasel Alechaser, waitin' just to give you a task! It's a bit of running around, but a nice bit o' fun for the holiday.

First, even though it's last on your quest helper list, you need to be aware of the areas in which you'll be collecting "pure water" so you don't have to do too much backtracking once you've done the other parts of the quest. You'll need water from:

-Antonica (I used the lake near the Qeynos gates),
-Thundering Steppes (grabbed some from the ocean just up from the zone to Antonica),
-Commonlands (I went to Pride Lake, but everyone was there grabbing the gathers, so I followed the river out and snagged one from there), and
-Nektulos Forest (I got mine at the docks, but you could also grab it in the river near the griffon tower to Commonlands on your way out there). The "pure water" is a sparkling harvest node found in any body of water. It's hard to miss if you have your effects on.

To get the hops, head on out to Thundermist Village. Prew Drowers is in the last house from the griffon tower in the village. If you try to take the bag of hops behind him, he won't give 'em up so ya gotta be sneaky! Go across from Prew's house to the barn and double click on Betsy to beat her up, this forces him to come out and check on Betsy so you can run in and grab his hops.

Evil deeds aren't just for those evil folks, eh?

After that part, I ran out to Nektulos Forest and Commonlands and grabbed my other water before calling back to Qeynos for the rest of the quest.

Now, you can do this part either first or last, doesn't matter but you need to go upstairs in the tavern to the private lounge. Here ya need to get Jimmy drunk enough to give up the goods, but not so drunk that he can't (or won't). Yeah, I know a few of you know this game *wink wink*

I gave Jimmy 2 Dwarven ales and 3 Gnomish Spirits to get him to turn green (it's a weird green outline when he's ready to help ya out). Return Rasel Alechaser to wrap this quest up.

He'll give you the a prayer which you need to use from your inventory and recite. In here you will be given the choice of picking a stein. Pick the wooden one so you don't die or nothin'. Return to Rasel for your reward.

Brell's Day Cloak

You get your choice of the Keg of the Everlasting or a cloak. I took the cloak since I have the keg from last year. Yay!

**Note: That sometimes very annoying drunk effect that you get after completing the quest goes away when you zone out of the tavern. But before you leave, get the next quest!!

Snoogle's Presentation

Talk with Snoogle Blitzed who is a little, well, blitzed. He asks you to find some items of power that are only available on Brell's Day and only while drunk. Hrm. I wonder if this works outside of game? Snoogle will give you a flask of ale to keep you at the appropriate level of mild drunkenness. Helpful lil guy he is.

First up, something that follows it's own kind on the savanna. The savanna is in the Commonlands and you are looking for a pink elephant. Take a drink from the flask Snoogle gave you and start searching! I found the pink elephant near Pride Lake coming from the druid circle.

Next on the list is something flying above a village. After a little searching and digging, I found that this refers to Thundermist Village. Head on out there and get your drink on again. I spent a lot of time running around through the village drunk and looking for something in the sky, but alas, those jokster devs put the flying pig inside one of the barns. Of course the sight of several players running around drunk and doing the same was well worth the cost of time.

Now we need to find something sunning its scales along the edge of a jungle. When I think jungle, I think the Feerrott! Seems they anticipated that because this one is in fact in Feerrott. Smart! I didn't have to search too far for this one, I saw it as soon as I took my drink. It's just inside the tunnel from the dock and called a small lizard toy.

Finally we need something that goes with corned beef and brew. I admit I had to ask around on this one (I blame the drink for my failings!) and someone pointed me towards Enchanted Lands. I took my drink before stepping off the docks and found the strange cabbage next to a tree just west of the dock.

Return these items back to Snoogle! He'll take the items in some confusion and give you Snoogle's Party Keg!

Beers For Brell!

Thanks to Zoolee of Kithicor for tipping me off to this one. I found the Avatar of Below wondering around in Antonica along side the road heading east from Qeynos, speaking with him gives you this quest for an very cool beer hat.

First ya need a keg of Blackburrow stout. Obviously found in Blackburrow, specifically in the brew room in the lower level of Blackburrow (loc 20, -40, 59).

Beer Hat!!

Now you need to find Gigglegibber Ginger Ale. You can get this from Gergy Gigglegibber inside the Brell tavern. She needs you to get ale which you just get from the bartender right next to Gergy.

You're off to Maj'Dul to find the drink called Love on the Coast. Speak with the exotic drinks vendor, Amorous Ali, just inside the Maj'Dul gates. Speak with Amavi Kar who is just right there too, and then back to Ali who will give you the Shot of Love on the Coast.

Avatar requires Hero Brew from the Minotaurs of Runnyeye. Charvis Drunkenhoof is found directly south of the Runnyeye entrance in Enchanted Lands. Click on him to knock him out and steal his brew on the ground.

Then we are after one of Tumpy Irontoe's ancestors. This is Glug Irontoe found on the dock of Butcherblock Mountains. He tells you to find Tumpy's spirit near Kaladim, he wonders back and forth on the road that goes by the entrance. Prove you're worthy to receive the tonic by streaking across the docks. Yeah, that's right; streaking. After drinking the tonic, you are pretty much stripped down to your skivvies and feared across the area. If I had known, I wouldn't have worn the thong!

Talk with Tumpy to get your update.

Return to the Avatar of Below with your finds and he will give you the Helm of Foamy Goodness.

I had lots of fun spending the day doing these silly quests, and I hope you all do too! Cheers and enjoy Brell's Day!
