Being the best mage you can be is a mix of skill, gear, and a good alternate
advancement build. Get one step ahead of the game by planning those AAs early
and get some tips on where to start with these pre-made AA specs. We've asked
around and did all the hard research for you to put together these AA specs for
the Wizard and the Warlock, all you need to do is earn the points! Use these
specs as we have made them or tweak a bit to suit your gameplay needs, either
way this is the perfect starting point for your class AA information.

Wizard

Sorcerer Line (100 pts)

  • STR (6, 6, 10, 1, 5)
  • AGI (6, 6, 10, 1, 8)
  • STA (-)
  • WIS (10, 4, 10, 1, 8)
  • INT (-)

Wizard Line (100 pts)

It's all about the damage with the Sorcerers so you'll want to focus on your
damage lines in the Wizard AA tree. Grab your red (direct damage) and green
(encounter damage) abilities in the Heat and Cold lines. You'll also want to
grab your Power line options, especially if you group a lot. Pick up the
Manaburn and Ice Shape end line abilities. For the Sentinel's Fate row, take
Shield of Icicles, Burning Storms, Ball of Flames, Elemental Surprise, and Fiery
Blast.

Wizard Shadows Line (70 pts)

In the General line us power and health unless there is something else you
really want/need. For the Mage line grab Root Mastery and Strike of the Mage if
you solo a lot or Runic Protection and Arcane Barrier if you tend to group more.
In the Sorcerer line grab Sorcery Mastery and Critical Mastery. In the Wizard
line put your points into Icicle Lash, Atomic Reaction, Icicle Flurry, and the
two end abilities Heat Mastery and Hail Storm.

Warlock

Sorcerer Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 8, 10, 1, 4)
  • AGI (4, 10, 10, 1, 8)
  • STA (-)
  • WIS (10, 4, 10, 1, 8)
  • INT (-)

Warlock Line (100 pts)

Put your points primarily into your Explosive and Hastenings lines with a few
picks (Grasp of Bertoxxulous, Shroud of Bertoxxulous, Gift of Bertoxxulous, and
Dark Infestation) in the Propagation line to get those end line abilities. In
Sentinel's Fate row, grab Dark Thoughts, Distorted Mind, Soul Siphon, Agonizing
Death, and Dark Aggravation.

Warlock Shadows Line (70 pts)

General take health and power (unless you can really use something else). In
the Mage line pick up Root and Strike of the Mage if you solo, otherwise take
Runic Protection, Arcane Barrier, and Bewilderment. In the Sorcerer line grab
Sorcery Mastery and Critical Mastery. In the Warlock line put your points into
Disciple of Bertoxxulous, Destitute, Corrosion, Warlock's Gift, and the two end
abilities.
