With the completion of Lord of the Rings Online Book Seven you learn
about the presence of the False-king Mordirith, who now resides deep
within the former lair of the Witch-king. Chapter eight begins with you
trying to restore the Ranger Golodir's spirit. As you journey through
this epic book, a new story begins to unfold before you, and when you
finally face the False-king deep within the throne room of Carn Dum, a
new mystery will present itself. Who is this mysterious woman known as
Sara Oakheart?

With the successful rescue of the Ranger Golodir, you
return to the
hidden fortress of Garth Forthnir only to learn that his spirit has
been broken. His torment at the hands of Mordirith; and the loss of his
daughter Lorniel, has left Golodir a broken shadow of his former self.
The Elf Laerdan, enlist your aid in restoring Golodir's spirit and in
pursuing the False-king Mordirith, that now resides in the former lair
of the Witch-king.
