This khaki canteen was a
real bargain!

Yesterday's exciting patch brought many changes but the most
appreciated was Military Surplus buildings. Players can now buy and
sell equipment, which not only makes them more effective in combat, but
jump starts the economy. Haven't had a chance to look at the system or
not sure how it works? We've put together an illustrated overview which
explains every function.

As recruits, everyone was given their standard issue
shotgun and pistol
with the completion of Boot Camp. As time went on you traded them in
for bigger and better weaponry by completing missions or stripping the
dead. How many times have you found yourself holding a piece of totally
useless gear that would benefit another soldier? Continuing the human
tradition of Capitalism, the AFS is now proud to offer you the
opportunity to use the new Military Surplus system, where players can
find and trade equipment better suited to their combat role
